Sanjeet Prasad was born and brought up in West Bengal, India. Since his childhood he had a leaning towards spiritual life. He started Yoga and Meditation journey with many inquiries, which accelerated later as learning from great masters in India and abroad. He then took his spiritual initiation from Maa Shobhana Bharati and was given the name Acharya Prem Swaroop. For 10 years he is professionally learning and teaching Yoga and Meditation. His first official initiation into Hatha Yoga tradition was in Neyyar Dam at the Shivananda tradition. He successfully completed the TTC and the ATTC from the Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy. His innate interest in Yoga has taken him to meet and practice with K.Pattabi Jois in Mysore and in several other Yoga styles in Mysore. Swaroop thereafter stared Swaroop Yogic Life Foundation in Rishikesh Tapovan and has successfully trained many Yoga teachers in the world .His understanding on Yoga philosophy and Vedanta took further depth when he met Pujya Swami Dayanada Saraswati in Rishikesh. He then took up to the studies of Samaskritam and Vedanta in Theni Madurai under the tutelage of Swami Sarvananda Saraswati. His expertise in Yoga has thereafter taken him to share this art abroad in Japan, USA, Hong Kong and China .As his teachings grew he realized a need for expending his vocabulary in the therapeutic practice of Yoga Asanas and Pranayams .His interest brought him to meet Parveen Nair in Rishikesh to learn the Iyengar Yoga style. This has strengthened his holistic approach towards Yoga. Swaroop Ji believes “our unconscious habits have disturbed the organic mechanism of our physical body and mental body. Through yoga we can again get connected with our organic body, from where we can rejuvenate. The conscious mind becomes Aware of the Unconscious Habits, in this way we are able to rectify our old habits and transform our life for betterment. The scattered energy collects itself and Reposes as Peace, love and Respect towards life. Let us all rise to a higher realm in Life.“
SW Bodhi Uttam is a co-leader of ShivaShakti Meeting and has experienced in the field of Meditation and Yoga for more than 20 years. He has given workshops for last 15 years in Japan, India, Europe, China, and Korea and opened to give courses all over the world.
He was born in Brahmin family (strictly vegetarian and fuss over details about purification) he got an all the materials and atmosphere needed for spiritual growth.
He says two things extremely helped him in life that he didn’t go to school till the age of 7, allowing him to be like a wild animal in the village. And he had spent his most of time in Shiva temple in his 7 to 21 years old and met all kinds of saints and sadhus. At the age of 14 he read BHAGAWAT GEETA and decided experiencing meditation and sharing this to the world is the goal of his life.
Life without meditation is meaningless. His commitment has brought him to travel all around India like a dying thirsty man, roaming in HIMALAYA going to many masters and ashrams, meeting Zen masters of Japan. Finally he got quenched by mystic OSHO. He wanted just a glass of water, and OSHO gave him Whole Ocean. He has been living last 15 years in Pune near OSHO energy field. He has received a university degree in science, and a master degree in journalism. Studied at Bihar school of Yoga and Advanced therapeutic Kriya yoga at Kaivalyadhama School. Also he studied Zen Counseling, Zen tarot and many courses such as OSHO meditative therapies and others in OSHO multiversity in Pune.
Siddhartha Veer, born in a traditional Indian family, grew up around the temples and ashrams of great sage Neem Karoli Baba. These ashram visits and wandering in Himalayan foothills gave him deep spiritual understanding of the ancient Vedic wisdom. He had several opportunities to meet masters in the Yogic and the Vedantic traditions and still continues to. Among these masters whom he had met, M.M Swami Veda Bharati has caught his attention. Swami Veda was a great Vedic Scholar of this century. Siddhartha Veer has lived in his presence for some years studying Yoga, Vedanta and practicing many methods of meditation. His interest grew deeper in the art of Yoga and meditation which lead him to take Deeksha(initiation) from Swami Veda Bharati and live in Rishikesh by Mother Ganga to further Self-Realisation. Siddhartha Veer comes from a tourism background. Rishikesh being the capital of Yoga has inspired him to teach Yoga Philosophy, meditation, Pranayama and meditative chants. Through his intuitive insight and style of teaching he takes his students on a different level of understanding which shows his dedication towards Yoga. As his master has said to many- “The world has a misery, the world has suffering. Do what you can, to reduce the pain. Do what you can, to soothe their minds.”
Rajnikant Singh was introduced to yoga in 2015 by Shri Parveen Nair, who is a uniquely Inspiring teacher in the Iyengar Yoga tradition. Under his supervision he learnt yoga and continued to study on deeper levels where he sighted acumen and assertion of what he had been finding on his own through practice. After working several years in the core financial sector Raj has dedicated his life to Yoga now and teach Yoga anatomy. He enjoy teaching musco-skeletal system and share the fascinating, beautiful and amazing facts about the human body on different levels. He is known for his unique style of teaching and ability to make things simple and easy to understand to his students. He seek to inspire and help his students to realize the limitless potential that already resides in them.”
Pranjal Bhaybhang was born in Maharashtra, India. For 8 years he is learning healing techniques and therapeutic yoga. He has successfully completed the TTC from Swaroop yogic life yog Shala Rishikesh. He has learnt Panchakarama (Ayurvedic cleaning therapist), Shatakarma ( Yogic cleaning techniques), diploma of hypnosis and Energy healing techniques.
Dr. Vijay Mittal was fortunate to be born in North India as this helped him to visit renowned masters in the Himalayas at an early age. This proved helpful in his search for Cosmic Prana healing. He spent years in the company of these renowned masters exploring meditation and medicinal plants in the Himalayan forests whilst continuing his studies. After completing his secondary education, he studied at Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, India and completed a 6 year B.A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicines and Surgery) degree course in Ayurveda. After completing his degree in 1991 in Ayurveda, Dr Mittal went to Delhi and worked as a house physician at Behl Multispeciality Hospital till 1993. Thereafter he practised medicine for many years in North India while completing his Diploma in Naturopathy and advanced course in Panchkarma at Bhilai, India. After returning from Bhilai he opened an Ayurveda Panchkarma centre in Haryana state, India. Soon he became highly respected for treating national and international clientele. During that time he organized workshops, seminars and lectures on Ayurveda at major centres including Dehradun and Rishikesh. In 2003 he was invited to practise Ayurveda in South Africa. Ever since he has been practising Ayurveda in South Africa and has treated thousands of patients successfully covering a variety of complicated Chronic Disorders. After completing his Masters Degree in Medicinal Plants, Dr Mittal is currently pursuing a research project in this field. Dr Mittal has been actively associated with creating awareness of Ayurveda, natural healing, understanding our body-mind, sleep, breathing patterns, diet etc. He has been invited on radio talk shows, has featured on TV programmes and has written several articles for magazines and newspapers. His motto is to create a society that is naturally healthy, one that is more in tune with itself, where we live more harmoniously with nature and are less dependent on medicines.
