In case of cancellation, the advance deposit for the course fee is strictly non refundable and non transferable.

However you are free to reschedule for the same course in a future month within 12 months after the initial course has been booked.

If you have paid the entire course fee and wish to cancel, you have to inform the school at least 10 working days prior to the beginning of the course. In such cases the advance deposit and other service charges will be deducted before the fee is returned.

The advance deposit is strictly non refundable. However you are free to reschedule for the same course in a future month within 12 months after the initial course has been booked.

Before all refunds, the payment gateway charges, service charges and taxes will be deducted. Only the remaining balance will be refunded to the original source of payment. For changing the refund source, please contact the admin team to check availability.

You can transfer your advance deposit or the complete course fee for a different course or different dates only before 7 days of the beginning of the course you originally applied for.

You cannot transfer the fee towards a different person applying for the same course. However for a different course you can use your deposit or complete fee for another person.

If the course has already begun, no transfer,credit or refund can be made available.

If a student wishes to withdraw from our program for any reason, they must first contact the course admin to discuss their reasons for withdrawal. Fees paid are non-refundable when students decide to withdraw due to personal reasons.

You are required to have attended 100% of your classes to certify.

A maximum of 5 hours can be missed by a student for acceptable reasons and after the approval of the course director. We will provide 5 hours of makeup sessions at $20 per hour to graduate from the course.

You can only miss a class or leave during a class in case of absolute emergencies or temporary sickness.( Cold, cough, fever, body aches etc)

In case you have missed training hours over the maximum hours allowed, even with acceptable reasons and well advanced notices, the school reserves the authority to decide if you need to retake the course to ensure completed training horse as required by Yoga Alliance, USA.

Rishikesh Yoga International does not approve uninformed absences and it may result in dismissal from the program without a refund. In this case the graduation will be at the sole discretion of the Program Director.

If you are late for class by more than 15 minutes,an hour will be docked from your training hours and you would need to make up at the rate of $20 per hour for every hour missed upto 5 hours per course only.

Rishikesh Yoga International may decide to terminate any student’s participation in the course if :

  • False or omission of information provided in during the admission process that materially affects the program. For eg : Pre-medical conditions, False identity etc.
  • A student has missed more than 8 hours of Training.
  • A student has missed 2 or more consecutive days without contacting the program director.
  • A student has failed to make the complete payment before the beginning of the course.
  • A student who appears to have mental or emotional instability or has displayed destructive or disruptive behaviour.

If RYI decides to terminate a student’s participation in the course due to the reasons stated above, the student is not entitled to receive any refunds. All prior payments are final, non refundable and non transferable.

Certificates will be rolled out to students upon completion of the course in accordance with Policies and the Code of Conduct.

In special cases of course incompletion the school reserves the right to make the final decision.

Rishikesh Yoga International takes the privacy and security of our students very seriously. The personal information collected is a requirement by the Government of India for checkin and also by our school for student registration.

Information will not be shared with any third party.

Students must understand that Rishikesh Yoga International engages in Social media marketing and networking such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest etc as a part of the school’s promotional activities. This may involve sharing of photos and other non personal information.

Rishikesh Yoga International may contact graduates in the future about upcoming events and opportunities, this requires us to use the student’s contact details. In case any student is uncomfortable with this, they may contact the admin/staff via email to be on the Do Not Contact list.

Rishikesh Yoga International or its teachers will not be responsible for any personal injuries sustained or any pre existing medical conditions triggered during the training, in or out of the class. Students will be responsible for any such injuries or any medical costs incurred during the stay at the campus.


The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to ensure a completely safe and nurturing environment in which students can learn effectively and instructors can teach. It also ensures that students grow towards their physical, spiritual and psychological well being. We expect all students to honor and uphold the code of conduct for the duration of their stay at Rishikesh Yoga International.

While it is not possible for the school to list all possible breaches of conduct, here are some of the most important ones. Other than the ones mentioned below, students are also expected to follow any additional guidelines and warnings from the school management, if any.

Please go through the code of conduct applicable to all students participating in different courses and activities.

  • No substance abuse : We strictly do not allow any alcohol, drugs or addictive substances during the duration of the course. This applies to all students whether they are inside the campus or outside. If found, the student will be requested to leave immediately without any certification or refund.
  • No Smoking : We do not allow any kind of smoking including e-cigarettes, vapes etc on the premises. We promote physical and emotional purification during the training. If you are a habitual smoker then we expect you to only smoke outside the campus and try to keep it to the minimum. We request you to ensure correct disposal of cigarette butts.
  • No consumption of non vegetarian food : Meat, Poultry or eggs are not allowed within the campus. We realise that not all students are vegetarian, however by enrolling into the course, you have agreed to philosophy and dietary requirements. Students are required to bring their own dietary supplements if any.
  • No behavioral or verbal aggression : This includes any passive aggressive behaviour towards fellow classmates, teachers or management staff. This refers to gossip, harassment, bullying or any other inappropriate or disruptive behaviour.
  • 100% Attendance : Tardiness to class will not be tolerated and it will not be counted as a full class and one should not sign the daily attendance sheet if absent for certain portions.
  • No Mobile Phones : Students are expected to not engage in external communication or social media networking during an ongoing class. This is considered to be disrespectful to the Guru and other classmates who require a positive and focused study environment.
  • No late night outs : We request the students to be back to the school campus by 9pm to ensure that the next early morning schedule is not disrupted and training goes on as planned.
  • No Party : We do now allow any get togethers or parties to be held by students on the school premises.
  • No romantic relationships with teachers : We strongly advise students to not engage in any kind of romantic or sexual relationship with teacher/s. Teachers are also not permitted to take any particular student outside the campus for a trip or a meal during the training course.
  • Music on speakers : Music is only permitted on campus at the appropriate volume if your roommate agrees and neighbours do not complain. Music is not allowed during classroom training and no earlier than 6 am and no later than 9 pm. Students are free to use their earphones and headphones during non training hours.
